The project will offer unique opportunities for contributing to the conceptualization, design, and analysis of a future container port.

It also offers an opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural and possibly multi-lingual team, collaborating towards the common goal.

Qualified persons are expected to be able to contribute working knowledge in one or more of the following areas of expertise:

1.            Logistics /operation research /transportation engineering

2.            Cost-benefit analysis and competitive analysis of large-scale system designs

3.            Design and analysis of dispatching/scheduling/routing algorithms (e.g., for automated guided vehicles, cranes)

4.            Data Mining, Modelling, Simulation, and Optimization.

5.            Computer Software Engineering
